COURSE DESCRIPTION

 

This is an introduction to computer application software that encompasses document processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.  An understanding of ethics and use of operation systems, information resources, and electronic mail is included.  Skills gained will be demonstrated by creating a project that can be used in a different content area.

 

PROCEDURES

 

Follow the links and complete all work outlined within this Course.  Test and worksheets will be given throughout the lessons to test your understanding.  The test/worksheets will need to be sent via email to your online course instructor (you should have been give your instructors email address).  Your instructor will reply to you with your scores from the test/worksheets.

 

Under the title COURSE you will find worksheets to download or work with them online.  It is best if you print a copy of the worksheet so you can take notes and fill in the blanks.  By filling in the blanks this will help you to remember what was covered and will also give you a study guide to use.  After you have your worksheets use the links to work on your lessons.  There will be assignments to complete and test to take and submit to your online instructor.  To be sure that you do not miss any test or assignments you will need to finish each lesson listed under the links.  Assignments will be given in the lessons.

 

GRADING

You must score 70% or higher on each test and assignment to pass this course.  This means that you can not miss any assignments or test. 

There will be a total of 1000 points possible.  Final grading scale is listed below:
